In the famous words of Aaron Rogers from the 2014 season.

Five letters here just for everybody out there in Steelers Nation.

RELAX.

Relax.

Rogers is going to be just fine.

Sure, Sunday night's performance against the Los Angeles Chargers was as ugly as it gets.

He missed some easy throws that he can make with his eyes closed in his Hall of Fame career.

He also made some mind-numbing decisions, like trying to scramble into his own end zone and taking a safety.

But that performance alone cannot be a jumping off point for everyone,

especially with how Rogers has played in the games prior to week 10.

For a large stretch of the season, Rogers was essentially the Steelers team MVP.

He was distributing the ball well,

operating the offense at a successful level,

and was giving the Steelers what they needed in recent years. Steady, consistent quarterback play. He has provided

great leadership, too. But at 41 years old, he's due to have an off night. That's what

happened Sunday night at SoFi Stadium. This head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday, the performance

was what it was. There's no excusing it.

But there's also no need to go and write off Rogers for good now. He's had some tough performances in the past in his career. It has always bounced back.

He's never had much success in Southern California and an NFL career either and was glad after the game that it was likely his final game there.

So let's see how he bounces back against the Bengals.
