Things are really looking up for the Pittsburgh Steelers offense, particularly in the run

game coming out of the by week.

Prior to the by, the Steelers had the best performance of the season, rushing for 131 yards

and controlling the line of scrimmage from start to finish against the Minnesota Vikings.

That they did so without the presence of starting running back Jalen Warren was even more impressive.

And yet, all of that could be moot this week as the Steelers turn their attention to the

AFC North foe and the Cleveland Browns. Those Browns, well, they happen to have the best run defense in football.

Through the first five weeks, the Browns are allowing just 75.6 yards per game on the ground.

That's number one in football.

In total, Cleveland is allowing just 247.8 yards per game.

That's number two in football behind only the Atlanta Falcons. This is an elite defense

with some significant pieces up front, led by Miles Garrett and rookie Mason Graham. It will be

tough sledding in the run game. And remember, the Steelers are only rushing for 80 yards per

game, second worst in the NFL. But Pittsburgh has to find a way.

Games are won and lost in the trenches, and the run game is a major importance once again in the

NFL. As Mike Tomlin said Tuesday, the Steelers need to have a finisher's attitude. They have to come
