Welcome to the terrible take and many podcasts telling Steelers Nation what's on our mind. I'm

Josh Carney. There's still quite a bit that needs to happen between now

in the start of the 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay, for the picture to become a bit clearer for the

Pittsburgh Steelers. But as things stand right now in early February, one thing is pretty clear from my

perspective. The Steelers need to double dip along the defensive line in a deep, talented draft class.

We'll see if the Steelers go defensive line in the first round, but after that, they should have two defensive linemen in their draft class no matter what.

It's a really good croft of players at the position, and it's a real area of need for the Steelers.

Late in the season, the Steelers struggled to stop the run. That much we all know. At one point,

the Ravens ran the ball 13 straight times in the wildcard round and rolled to a touchdown

on the drive in a blowout win. The Steelers had no answers up front, even with a dominant

Cameron Hayward on the field.

Larry Ogun Jobi is a cut candidate this offseason, as is depth defensive lineman Dean Lowry.

Keanu Benton was a bit of a disappointment in year two.

Montravius Adams struggled with injuries.

And rookie Logan Lee missed the entire season on injured reserve in what was essentially a redshirt year.

Isaiah Loudermoke was largely ineffective too.
