i'm Josh Carney in the midst of a four-game losing streak to back

into the postseason, not much of anything is going right for the Pittsburgh Steelers at this

particular time. The offense is a mess. The defense can't seem to generate any luck with

turnovers lately. And special teams is struggling in coverage and in the return game as well.

It's hard to find any positives right now for the Steelers entering the wildcard

matchup against the Ravens.

But there are a few positives entering that wildcard matchup, particularly on defense.

To close out the regular season,

the Steelers seemingly cured their tackling woes that plagued them early in December.

After missing a combined 36 tackles in losses to the Eagles and Ravens in weeks 15 and 16,

the Steelers missed just four tackles each in week 17 and 18 against the chiefs and Bengals,

performing at a high level in that department once again.

Additionally, the Steelers cleaned up the communication issues in week 18 against the Bengals,

keeping a lid on things from an explosive Cincinnati offense that didn't have a single explosive play in the game.
