The last time the Steelers met the Bengals was in week 13 on the road,

and that resulted in a

thrilling 44-38 win over Cincinnati to move to 9 and 3 on the season.

In that game, Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson had the second best game of his career with

414 passing yards. In that win, Wilson did something rather important. He took what the defense

gave him with checkdowns and underneath throws and let playmakers do things after the catch

with the football in their hands. Since then, the Steelers and Wilson have gotten away from that,

and it's led to some struggles in the passing game.

Of course, it didn't help that the Steelers were without standout wide receiver George Pickens in three of the last four games, which really hindered the offense.
