Ahead of the start of training camp in late July at St. Vincent College in Laitrobe,

the Pittsburgh Steelers seem to be at least according to reporting

from the athletics Marklebali, getting things aligned properly along the offensive line. That means Brodrick Jones at left tackle and then Dan Moore Jr. and rookie Troy Faltanoi, battling

it out at right tackle on Chuck Noll Field throughout late July and August.

If that is what ends up occurring, that is a terrific decision-making process from the Steelers,

especially after getting all three guys reps at both spots in OTA's and Min-camp. Now they have that baseline, but in training camp it's

time to hone in on where they'll be playing during the regular season. If what Cabali says is

accurate, that's what the Steelers are doing and good on them.

Moving Jones to the left side is the right call.

He was drafted to play that position coming out of Georgia last year and he adjusted well for the most

part to right tackle as a rookie stepping in midway through the season for Chukuma-O-Kor for.

But Jones fell off late in a year.

So a move back to his more natural left side

is the right call, something the Steelers have talked about

all off season.

In the process, that moves more off of left tackle, and puts him in a battle with Faltano who is moving the right tackle from left side in college.

The Steelers got Faltano started at right tackle in rookie minicamp.

So he has plenty of runway in rookie mini camp.

So he has plenty of runway leading the training camp to try and win the job from a guy and

more, who has been on record to the media expressing his discomfort playing on the right side. Overall, it's the correct move from the Steelers if it happens.
