Many people in various corners and spots on social media have discussed the NFL's predicted demise for years

that the league will fold and crumble as fans tune out for whatever reason the game's

not physical enough the NFL is too political, whatever the complaint is.

And I am not here to push that narrative. Football is king. The NFL rules to land. That's not changing.

But for this off-season, the league they are squirming a bit. They're facing a

serious billion dollar lawsuit over antitrust allegations regarding their Sunday ticket package. The NFL is fought tooth and nail

to keep it out of trial for nearly a decade but finally lost out the case proceeding in front of

a jury earlier this month. It remains ongoing. If they lose, they could

have to pony up more than $21 billion. And at the least, Roger Guiddell, Jerry Jones, Robert Kraft, and other important

NFL Bigwicks has had to testify in this case. That almost never happens across

the major sports, especially not a powerful entity like the NFL. They avoid courtroom

situations like this but not here. There is also an ongoing suit from

former NFL Network reporter Jim Trotter accusing the league of wrongful

termination after calling out Goudel and the NFL for not having a diverse enough media room.

That suit seems to be in the earlier stages but survived
