So far Cameron Hayward has sat out the voluntary portion of O TAs and the next 10 days of

workouts and practices with the full team also fall into that voluntary category

so expect him to remain on the sidelines for now as he seeks a contract extension.

Today I will make the case for why Hayward should be extended.

First, it is important to look at the Steelers defensive line

room in the outlook for the next two or three seasons.

If the Steelers were to move on from Hayward after this season,

Good free agent defensive linemen with the measurables that the Steelers prefer come very expensive

Just look at Larry Ogan Jobe's three-year extension last
