I beg of you endless QB rumor mill. We haven't even hit free agency yet in the

NFL calendar. Heck we haven't even made it to the official start of the

2024 NFL scouting combine. And already the endless chatter in

speculation regarding the quarterback position for the Pittsburgh Steelers

in 2024 has become unbearable. Some days the focus is on Justin Fields or Kirk Cousins being

the next guy in Pittsburgh. Other days it's Ryan Tanahill, Russell Wilson, or a draft pick. It feels like every

single talking head has to state their opinion on who the next quarterback should be for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Daily.

No more.

Please, just stop.

For all intents and purposes, the Steelers' decision-makers have made it pretty clear where they stand

on Kenny Pickett entering the off-season, right or wrong.

They've planted their flag, and that's not going to change anytime soon.

They view at least internally Kenny Pickett as QB1 and still believe in him as a potential franchise quarterback. They've made that clear.

Despite those comments though, talking heads seem to forget that or outright ignore

them when it comes to the quarterback discussion for the black and gold.

It's getting very old.

Sadly, there is plenty of time between now and the start of free agency, before the Steelers

could even make a decision, one way or another, when it comes to adding another quarterback

to the room.
