With the recent hiring of Arthur Smith is the Pittsburgh Steelers

Offens coordinator, one potential change that Alex Gazor noted in an article

recently was that the team could potentially use a true fullback more

and a slot receiver less. Smith used

Quixari blasting game in Tennessee and Keith Smith and Atlanta and Smith who is an unrestricted fridge in this

offseason could be an option for Pittsburgh if they do go that route.

Ironically just a few days ago I was playing Madden using 2005 rosters, and Dan Crowder checked in the

Steelers, which brought back a flood of memories as Crowder used to be one of my all-time favorite sealers.

Naturally, I had to get him a goal line touch for a touchdown.

The crowd has worked the Steelers, you know, I think it's a little bit unheralded.

His block in Super Bowl 40 on Ben Ralthus burgers touchdown was huge and he helped the Steelers run game excel while he was on the team.

It got me to thinking how truthful that could really actually benefit the Steelers next

season.

Sure they could run more 13 person on like they did towards the end of last season,

but I think having a full back who's really willing to get out in front of the back and do all the dirty work,

helping open up rush lanes, could give the Steelers a power running identity that they've always thrived on. It used to change that that happens I think would really end up being a

positive for the Steelers. There's the first season that a true fallback is

Derek Watt wasn't retained and they're off the rushing offense wasn't necessarily great with

what as a true fullback but I think getting somebody to play without role in

Smith's offense is going to be a key difference and I think would lead a better
