One of the Pittsburgh Steelers' biggest needs this off season

and one that can be addressed in the 2024 NFL draft is another

quarterback to pair alongside Joey Porter Jr.

Porter Jr. Porter Jr. Pitter Jr. Pitzburg's 32nd overall pick in 2023

at a stand-out rookie season traveling with

opponents top receivers after entering the starting lineup and performing like one of the

best corners in football. But this problem for the Steelers right now is I don't have a long-term running mate for him.

And a fellow rookies, Corre Trish Jr. if he can ever find a way to stay healthy,

he obviously missed this season with the torn ACL suffered a training camp, dealt with injury issues throughout his college career.

In Darius Rush, who Pittsburgh signed off the Kansas City Chiefs Practice Squad earlier this season,

may have some potential.

The position is still one that the Steelers should look to target early in the 2024 draft.

While Pittsburgh might not address the position in the first round, there's a deep enough corner

class that Pittsburgh can potentially hit on somebody in the second round like they did with Porter last season.

Just to show off the depth of the class, Dane Brugger's latest mock job for the athletic

and much had Pittsburgh selecting Iowa quarterback Cooper to Gene in the first round.

Bruggler had nine cornerbacks mocked in the first two rounds,

including Quinion Mitchell from Toledo who is one of my personal favorites.

Did Gene in the first round would be a good fit for Pittsburgh?

He's a guy who's going to be mocked heavily to them.
