I'm Alex Kizora. And before we begin, this is the 1000th episode of the Terrible Take.

Rant about small grievances most of you don't care about.

Winning the field position battle was a struggle for the Steelers and Sundays win over the

Bengals. It was partially why the game remained so close throughout.

Penalties, a long kick return aloud, and two touchbacks played heavy hands in Pittsburgh losing

there.

On Presley Harvin's first punt of the game. He placed it beautifully at the

Bangles 5. The ball bounced into the air and over the goal line, never touching the

paint, and wide receiver and gunner, Mouse Boykin jumped into the air over the end zone and batted the ball back in play inside the five.

But by rule, because Boykin had stepped into the end zone and never re-established himself back in the field of play, it was a touchback.

If I was Commissioner for a day, I'm changing that.

If a player is not touching any part of the end zone and puts the ball back in the field of play,

so long as the football has not hit the end zone, it should be a valid maneuver.

Why would it not be? You're in the air. You're not standing or making contact in the end zone. Make those moments more exciting and don't make the end zone this barrier that cannot be touched. I mean you can dive over the end zone and throw the ball back in the fuel to play as the Patriots

virally did back in 2018 against the Steelers. So what difference does it make if you stepped in the end zone to begin with as long as you're in the air?

Open that play up make punts more exciting and for anyone who can pull off what Boykin did

they should be rewarded.

Maybe the NFL will listen by our 2000th take.
