Hey everyone and welcome to The Talking Dead podcast. My name is Chris and my name is Jason and this is episode number 639 recorded on Wednesday, September the 6th, 2023.

Welcome to the program everyone. I know this is really late just before the Darrell Dixon show is going to start but we wanted to sneak one more podcast in just for fun because there's a little bit of news to talk about and a little bit of listener feedback but we will get to that in a moment.

First of all Jason, how have you been lately? I've been okay. How are you Chris? I'm good. I'm not sick anymore. Some people wrote in about my sick voice on the last podcast. They were worried that I was dying but I didn't die. I recovered and I'm good to go.

Well, if it's any consolation Chris, I completely forgot that you're sick. Right. Since then, don't forget I went to Europe for two weeks and I've been back for a month already. So it's been quite a long time.

Wait, we haven't talked since before you went on that vacation. I think so. Yeah, that feels like forever ago. I was on I had two weeks of vacation and I went stupid camping. Yeah, but I had a stupid time and I came stupid home. So it was good.

I'm glad that you're stupid back. It is good that you're here. All right. So let's let's just get into it. We don't have too much today. Just a couple of news items, but I thought they were interesting to talk about.

And a little bit of listener feedback. So let's do that first. Listen to our feedback. All right. So this first email comes from Owen who's written in many times before he's in leads in sunny old England as he says.

And he says, I'm rewatching the walking dead and listening back to the cast from back in the day episode number 97 friend of the show Dave was on freaking hilarious.

So that's good to hear on I'm glad you're going to listen back to some of the older stuff. And you know, when you when you sent that in, I thought it would be fun to get Dave on the show.

We reached out. I haven't talked to the guy in a long time. I mean, Jason, you're in touch with them a little bit more, right?

I was, I mean, you know, he was working at a place where my son was, you know, we had before and after care for school, which was awesome. But he since moved up and moved on in the world and a bigger, better job.

So I, you know, we just started school again and everybody in my family misses them.

Well, that's me too. Me too. It's been a really long time. So I would love to reconnect with that guy if at all possible someday someday. Maybe I don't know if only we could get him here.

That would be magical. Wouldn't it be magical? Well, as a matter of fact, I'm still here. I've always just kind of been here. I just didn't have much to say Jason. Did you hear something? I heard Dave.

What? That's impossible. We just said Dave's not on the show. Dave, are you on the show? Nothing is impossible.

All right. Hey, look at that. Dave is here. Everybody. Dave, it's been so long, man. I don't know if it's been since episode 97, like go and said, but I don't remember anything we've ever done. So it's amazing that you're back.

Hello, Chris. Hello, Jason. Hello. Hello. Hello. I'm both back in front. I'm two pieces put together to make a hole. That's true. We are whole once again.

So this is super fun. It's been forever since you've been on. I'm glad you could make the time to come and do it.

And before we move on, I do have a couple of other older clips I want to play because one of our other listeners,

you know, Nathan from Sydney, Australia, who's a regular listener who I've met in real life. He was going through some old episodes and he said he'd pull out some interesting bits if he thought of any, but we'll get to those in a second.
