Hello everyone and welcome to the podcast. My name is Chris and my name is Jason and this is The Talking Dead number 638 recorded on Sunday the 13th of August 2023. Holy shit, it's the 13th already. It sure is. What does that mean? Nothing just the time is screaming by that's all.

Time is screaming by that is for sure. I was I have been back from my two week vacation for a week already. Yep. And it kind of feels like I never went anywhere. No vacation to like that. They're fleeting and they disappear into the void of reality quite quickly. Yes, yes, they do. You are just beginning of vacation. I understand tomorrow is the first official day of the vacation. So, you know, after Friday, I worked on

Friday and I had a weekend and tomorrow I will not be working when the rest of the world is working. So yes, tomorrow's the start of my vacation. That's fun. I hope you I hope well, I know you have some plans, but I hope you have a good time on with whatever you're doing on your

We're going camping. Yeah, we're going. Well, yeah, I mean, we can disagree on what camping means, but there will be a car. There will be a tent. There will be a toaster oven. There will be a coffee maker. There will be a refrigerator. No air conditioning. Sadly,

but it's supposed to be a little cooler. So that'll be all right. You know, with with the word camping, you lost me with

refrigerator a little bit, but, you know, it looks like a cooler. Okay. So it's not like doesn't look like a refrigerator. It's a cooler, but it plugs in and

makes it into a freezer. Part of it's a freezer. Part of it's a fridge. Yeah. And you have a power service provided

Yeah, campsite. That's not unheard of for camping sites. No, no, no, campsites come with power. That's fair. So I'm going to take advantage of the power by using things that are powered by power. Sure.

They'll keep your drinks cold. Your meat frozen. Yes. Okay. The egg goes, you know, we've got to have eggos because, you know, God forbid, we don't have

flicking eggos for breakfast. And those coming frozen things and I don't want, you know, semi frozen wet eggos in a cooler with a

whole bunch of ice. No. So I want frozen eggos for my son, who deserves frozen eggos in a toasted toaster road. Wet eggos does sound pretty gross. I must admit, although I'm going to name my next band that wet

eggos. You know, we might have copyright issues, but, you know, good luck to wet waffles. Waffles see that works. That's a generic term. Yeah. And it actually is a little bit better. It is actually. I like the

iteration to it. Well, anyway, it's listen, I hope you have a good time doing your camping. I put an air quotes, sleeping in a tent is camping. Yeah, fair enough

fair enough. And you'll be like two minutes outside of town. So you can drive in for a coffee every morning. Yeah, I get up in the morning, go to Tim Hortons. Right. Stop

in McDonald's for a breakfast sandwich head back to the campground and then feed my son waffles before anybody is awake. No, I'm sure there will be a friggin

line up to get out of the campground in the morning to go to the Tim Hortons. Absolutely sure of it. All right. Well, I'm sure it will be a good time. Jasper's going to love it. He'll be in the

lake all day. Everything will be great. Yep. It gets to visit with his cousins because they're going up to so there'll be a much fun head by Jasper as I suffer through this living

much fun will be had. All right. Well, listen, everybody. It's been three weeks since our last podcast about 12 and a half years. It feels like it does feel kind of

long. That's for sure. But it was three weeks. And I just wanted to say everyone. Thank you for listening to us for all these years, but also

recently because our last podcast was, of course, our coverage of the season finale of the Walking Dead Dead City. And if you listen to that, which I assume most of you did, you
