In past episodes, I've told you quite a few stories centered around the time period of the

Second World War.

I've told you the story of the ghost army who helped trick the Axis forces by using illusions

and sleight of hand.

And I've told you about the monuments men who helped rescue hundreds of thousands of

cultural artifacts that had been stolen by the Nazi regime.

These amazing special units helped the Allied forces win World War II.
