Ryan Clark, who's an NFL analyst for ESPN, was let go from the network mid-show yesterday.

While he was on NFL- While he was appearing on NFL live yesterday.

So apparently ESPN was planning to inform Clark of his termination on Tuesday morning as part of a broader round of layoffs

expected that day.

But after media inquiries began circulating and a story was about to break, the network

feared the news would leak before they could deliver it directly to Ryan Clark.

So they pulled him aside mid-broadcast and told him.

Reportedly in an awkward, you know, spur-the-moment conversation.

Oh, I'm sure.

And then he left.

I didn't see it, but was it all-

Which makes sense.

Was it awkward on TV?

I didn't see the, I didn't see his final segment.

I think he was talking about, might have been talking about the Cowboys.

I could be wrong.

But yeah, like, if they come into the middle of one of the, you know,

NFC East position preview rankings and tell us, hey, the gig is up.

Yeah. And I guess the, I mean, I guess you could come in and finish the show, but what's your, what's your motivation at that point? Probably just going to, uh, when your company tells you, uh, your services are no longer. Probably just going to roll out. Yeah, you're probably just going to leave. Like Ryan, I don't blame Ryan Clark. Ryan Clark said, okay, see you later, mate.
