believes their own falsities. On September 29th,

1989, a man was arrested in connection to a double murder, a man who spent much of his life

lying to anyone who would listen and even seems to believe his own lies.

Dale Anderson, born either November 22nd, 1951 or the 24th, depending on the sources,

moved with his family from Canton, Ohio, to Galesburg,

and eventually Belleville, Illinois when he was just a little boy.

Described as quiet and forgettable, after graduation he attended Illinois State University

where he met a woman named Linda.

The pair eventually married and both graduated and became licensed teachers before welcoming a son and a daughter and settling into a ranch home in Belleville.

Things seemed to go well for the young family, but at some point, Dale became restless in his education job and in 1977, applied for a position

with the Illinois State Police.

He was rejected and began taking jobs in insurance companies that never really seemed to last

very long, often citing misconduct and strange behavior as the reason for his termination.

You see, as the 70s came to a close, Dale Anderson began behaving in a way that was

increasingly troublesome, strange, and often very secretive.
