For the last several studies, we've been dealing with the subject of meditating in the Word

of God.

And I'm belaboring the point because I'm convinced most believers do very little of this.

And yet there's such victory and joy and power and blessing in meditating on the Word

of God.

Now we've been studying Joshua chapter 1 verse number 8.

It's an amazing verse.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth.

But thou shalt meditate therein day and night.

That thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein,

for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous.

And then thou should have good success. We've talked about the practice of meditation. Use your mouth.

Talk to the Lord. Talk to others. Talk to yourself. Talk to the passage. There's a principle,

a great principle here of meditation. that is that it should be done

day and night. If you really learn to meditate in the Bible, you can do it anytime, anywhere,

everywhere. And then there's a purpose of meditation. The purpose of meditation is not to know more,

is to do more, to observe, to do. We're not just wanting to fill our minds.

We want our life to be changed.

We want to be doers of the Word of God.
