0:31.0	This is your host, John Hagadorn, and part two begins now.
0:37.0	We left you at the end of part one with the list of the accusers and the accused still growing,
0:42.0	and the accusers still consist entirely of teenage girls.
0:46.0	Some researchers have tried to say that it is possible that a fungus such as the type that grows on rye bread
0:51.0	could have caused the same symptoms that taking LSD could cause.
0:54.0	But when you think about it, mold on bread is pretty easy to spot.
0:58.0	And there have been scenes like the ones in both the church and the courthouse,
1:02.0	where numerous girls all broke into fits at once, pointing fingers of accusation.
1:06.0	It looks very much like an orchestrated effort to go after people in the village that they just didn't like,
1:11.0	or that their families had a grudge against.
1:14.0	Mary Warren, who was the servant girl to John Proctor,
1:17.0	did recatter accusation of Giles Cory at a congregation meeting,
1:21.0	where it seems the right questions were asked, and she accused the other girls of lying about the whole thing.
1:26.0	That could have turned the tide on the whole affair, but the other girls,
1:30.0	and whoever, if anyone, was driving them,
1:32.0	doubled down and filed a formal complaint against her, accusing her of being a witch as well.
1:37.0	And remember, all complaints were being submitted by Anne Putnam's father.
1:42.0	Now, John Proctor and his wife Elizabeth had been accused of being witches.
1:46.0	Elizabeth being accused first by their servant Mary,
