and I have a huge passion for the sport of running.

I just started the running effect,

and our mission is to enlighten, equip,

and motivate the next generation of runners with advice from the best in the sport that will

My guest today is Alex Osberg. Alex is a very accomplished collegiate runner.

He will be running for the University of North Carolina next spring to finish up his eligibility.

He started out his running career being one of the top high school runners in the country

by qualifying for the prestigious Foot Locker National Meet twice,

winning the 5K at New Balance Outdoor Nationals,

and setting six state records. Alex then went on to run for Stanford for five years very

successfully, before announcing recently that he will be taking his talents on and off the track

to the University of North Carolina. During his time at Stanford, he collected

PRs of 1342 in the 5K, 749 in the 3K, and 359 in the mile respectively. He is also a three-time

All-American in cross-country. He just got a bachelor's degree in human biology from Stanford, and we'll be getting

a master's in public health with an emphasis in nutrition at University of North Carolina.

Alex has a huge passion for the sport that is very contagious. In this episode, we'll touch on many
