Well, howdy there, internet people, it's Bell again. And welcome to the roads with Bell.

Today is November 7th and we're going down the roads to what happens next. So the election

certainly did not go as planned, pulled, or predicted. We've gotten more messages in the last

day or so than we have in the last month.

We can't do a Q&A with all of them. But most of the questions will be answered in videos

on the main channel over the next week or maybe two. But there are a couple of frequent comments I think it's important to talk about

before we get to talking about what's coming up. The first is the question of how do I keep hope?

Or the opposite of that, which is all is lost or it's over, or something along those lines.

You know in that video about Trump winning I got a lot of comments about me saying that it's going to get

bumpy a lot of people thought I should lean into the despair yeah that's not

me I'm banks military I'm sure y'all have heard some version of this speech,

but I'm going to talk about it in a slightly different way. That might be more relevant to the way

a lot of people feel right now. One of the things I was trained to do is run triage after a mass

casualty incident. Stretchers all around you,

and you have to assess and make determinations. You know what else you have to do? Convey calm.

Because the person that realizes they're laying there while other people are moving ahead of them

doesn't understand that it's actually a good

thing. It means they can wait, but they don't always know that. They're scared, they're hurt,

and they're panicked. You have to convey calm. The tone of your voice and every one of your movements has to convey calm.

Screaming that it's the end or that there's nothing that can be done isn't helpful.

If you tell people nothing can be done and that it's over, do you know what they do?

They give up.
