I'm your host Matt Carter, and today we get the chance to talk about a whole bunch of people in the labeled universe, but through the perspective of Seth Roberts.

And his band, Watashiwa is back and doing big things, as you may have noticed.

Watashiwa has a new album out on Tooth and Nail, on which they've done some awesome

collaboration, some really cool stuff that we'll talk about in the episode today.

But not only do they have an album coming out, but they're also on the West Coast

leg of Labeld Fest.

And also says working on the art team to do all the tour visuals and the design work

and doing a great job with that.

So I'm very happy to finally have Labeled Fest announced and on sale.

And I'll give you a little with the backstory of how we got here.

And that is that last year's Labeled Fest was an official pre-party show of Furnace Fest.

And it was sold out and it was a blast.

Brandon Ebel was there except for he left for a little while and went down the street

and walking distance to the Norman Gene Show, which was also sold out.

So that whole weekend just made it clear how much values created when people work together

and you get this high density of meaningful stuff going on in one place.

So this year, when we were able to get some holds on some rooms and some venues when

things were opening up, so I just started texting, you know, previous guest of this

podcast to see who might want to make something cool happen.

And right away, things just started making sense.
