Hey everyone, I'm Dr. Allison. Today's scripture offers us a wiser way of being human as we step into the day.

Have you ever stood under a wide open sky and felt both small and also strangely held? Maybe you've

looked up at the stars or stood near the ocean or looked out

across the mountains and something in you got quiet. For a moment, the swirl of responsibilities,

anxieties, and demands loosened its grip. And some part of you remembers, I am not the center of everything.

And somehow that doesn't make you feel insignificant.

It makes you feel relieved.

Today's psalm meets us in that place of wonder.

As you hear this passage today, I invite you to notice what happens inside of you,

not just what you think, but what your body feels as you remember that in the grand

scheme of things you are tiny and yet also deeply seen.

Today's scripture is Psalm 8, 1 through 9. Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth.

You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants, you have
