In Proverbs the fourth chapter, this is a very familiar portion of Scripture to many of us.

And in this 20th verse, he begins by saying, Proverbs 420, he says, my son, of course that means daughter too.

Attend to my words.

In other words, pay attention to my words.

Incline your ear unto my sayings.

I mean, no, you need to be inclined toward the word of God.

You need to have, your disposition needs to be towards hearing God's words.

Not that somebody has to coax you and coerce you a bunch.

I mean, you're ready and inclined to hear the words of the Lord.

You have an inclination at your disposition to hear his words.

Let them not depart from that eyes.

I mean, no, just because you see them once, that's not enough. You need to keep them in front of your eyes. I mean, no, just because you see them once, that's not enough.

Like the Lord told the king of Israel, he said, you are to write you a copy of this law,

and you're to read in it all the days of your life.

Paul told Timothy, in 1st Timothy, he said, give attendance to reading amen what's that mean read the Bible

I said, yeah, he said, oh, I've read that.

Well, see, he meant he had read it like you'd read, you know, people say, well, have you

read such and such book?

Yeah, I've read that.
