We've been in a really amazing space here where the Lord has been talking to us about

reconceptualization and how

our preconceived ideas need to be judged in light of the reality of Christ. We're not going to,

we're not going to diverge too far away from that tonight, but I do have something that I've only

had a couple of times over the years of ministry, and that is a, a teaching that revolves around a calendar I

don't pay a lot of attention to the calendar I'm just being honest with you

it doesn't I don't I don't you know Good Friday or Easter or Valentine's Day or

whatever it is those those holidays I'm not saying they're unimportant but I'm

saying they should not be specific or exclusive

to a day out of the year. The Good Friday narrative should be something we're celebrating in our

heart all day, every day, any day, right? Same with the resurrection, although Judah's favorite

holiday is Easter. If you want to understand why his favorite holiday is Easter, he has it all

mapped out, doesn't he? In his mind, we've heard it many times why Easter is the most superior of all the holidays. So he can explain that to you. And he's of my DNA, therefore he will win the argument. Trust me. So, so, but I, uh, and I think it's also because it's around his birthday. That might be why it's his favorite time. He wants the world celebrating his birthday. But I want to talk to you a little bit tonight. My goal is not to see how long we can stay here, but I think there's a couple of important things the Lord gave me, even through the night last night and into this morning. And one of the things that I want to talk about tonight is, let me just make this statement

and we'll jump in.

Go with me to Acts chapter 2.

Acts chapter 2, probably a weird place to be talking about the passion, but we're going

to start in Acts 2 and I want to show you several things that may help us reconceptualize

the idea of what the atonement was about. Now, there are seven to eight. I say there are seven.

Some scholars would say there are eight different atonement theories that are generally used

to describe what was being accomplished through this death, barrel, and resurrection of the Christ.

Some of them complement each other well.
