Yeah. And when we last left the Ramones, they had just played England for the first time on the occasion of America's bicentennial, and they found that what was a decidedly hard sell in America, i.e. punk rock, that shit was being bought by the boatload in the UK.

But the thing about the Ramones is that they never stopped believing in themselves and their potential to become rock superstars here in America.

So they got to work on recording their second album upon their return.

Now what astute listeners may have noticed in episode one and two is that some of the songs

that the Ramones wrote before their debut actually ended up on their second, if not third album.

And there's good reason for that.

See when the Ramones signed a Sire Records they had no less than 30 songs

written and ready to go. So when it came time to lay down another 14 for their second

album leave home, the Ramones were more than ready. I was really sick, losing my mind,

heard about the stupid my girlfriend of man.
