| 0:00.0 | Welcome to Let It Be Easy with Susie Moore. |
| 0:07.0 | I want to share with you something today that can really save you from a lot of despair and a lot of that ugly comparisonitis that can make you feel like |
| 0:19.9 | S-H-I-T and can make you want to just hold back, hate the world, shut down and go and hide, right? |
| 0:27.0 | Comparing ourselves is miserable. |
| 0:30.0 | And the reason that that is, is because we're not in this world to compare. |
| 0:34.0 | Everyone has a wildly unique different path and we are only in a race alone, right? |
| 0:39.8 | We want to run our own race. Think about nature. A flower doesn't look at another flower and go, |
| 0:46.0 | that one's bigger and cuter or that one's growing faster. They just allow themselves to all be. And think about it, like a flower doesn't look at the sunset and go, |
| 0:56.0 | oh my gosh, like the sunset is more beautiful than me. It's different. They are both beautiful. They are both here to serve very different functions just like every human being and |
| 1:10.2 | When we compare I can tell you that my biggest sources of misery in my past have come from comparing myself with others, thinking that they're further ahead, thinking that I'm behind, thinking that they've figured out something that I haven't figured out yet, and as a result I'm foolish, thinking that other people have made better decisions, thinking that other people are cooler, like whatever it may be. Comparison is so wildly illogical |
| 1:36.0 | and it comes purely from our ego. |
| 1:40.0 | So I would like to give you a little comparison busting, some comparison busting options here that really allow you to come back to the truth of who you are, the truth of why you're here, |
| 1:55.6 | and to the vibration of love which will always allow you to |
| 2:00.9 | fulfill your highest potential in your short lifetime. |
| 2:07.0 | And it's simply these two things. |
| 2:11.0 | First of all, when something good happens to someone else, right, maybe you have a little |
| 2:15.4 | twinge inside of, oh, I wish that happened to me, or that should be me, or why did that happen |
| 2:20.0 | to that person, you know, why isn't it showing up in my life. Here's a great statement. Good things happen to me to. |
| 2:29.7 | Good things happen to me to. We spoke about this recently in self-coaching society and it was wonderful. Good things happen to me too. Now tell me that that's not true. |
| 2:40.0 | What good things are happening for you too, that you're completely overlooking because you have these binoculars on someone else's path? |
| 2:48.0 | Good things are happening to you every day all around you. Are you paying attention? |
| 2:54.3 | And the second step is this. |
