Today's 10-minute walk is helping you create a walking habit you're going to fall in love with.

Hi, I'm Dave. Thanks for allowing me to be part of your 10-minute walk today.

Sid writes, my parents started walking after they turned 65 and were done working and never stopped.

Now they jump in their car to find nice walk paths all over the country.

Both are fit, mentally strong, and no medication.

And both are 84 years old at the moment.

I wanna talk about the impact of walking

A lot of times when we talk about the research,

the health investment of walking, of making

this an intentional fitness activity, I think a lot of times we're talking about the quantity

of life, how long we live. Because one of the great risk reductions is you're reducing your risk of an early death.

But we do focus, because it's not unimportant, we do focus on the quantity of life how many years we're going to live
