Hi, I'm Dave. Today's walk is starting on a side road. There may or may not be traffic as I walk along this side road. I'm not entirely sure why I'm walking on this side because there's no sidewalk.

The other side has a sidewalk.

So I'm going to cross the road and do the safer thing.

So starting on this side road with the sidewalk and then I'm going to turn down and walk alongside a road that is much

busier and you probably will hear traffic.

And I understand I've heard from listeners when some of these episodes are recorded and traffic

is approaching.

And until you get used to it, it can sound like the traffic is happening where you are walking.

I've even listened to my own episodes.

There was traffic approaching in the episode I was listening to,

and I instinctively turn around to see what's coming behind me and there's nothing there.

So you're going to hear some traffic.

Hopefully it won't be too much, but that will

the sport of jumping rope when I was in my 50s. I can't wait for my three times a week jump rope sessions. Do I love staying in a warm

bed on cold mornings? I certainly do. But jumping rope calls to me and I'm so grateful for it.
