stance on something and especially being really dogmatic with that stance and

being unwielding in that stance. What I've learned in several different experiences in life

is that when I've taken extreme stances and been unwilling to see the other side, it cuts off all possibility, it cuts off

human connection and it shuts me down and prevents me from learning from the

And the most potent example I can give you is my experience of religion growing up.

I grew up going to a Catholic school, my entire family is Catholic, and for as far back as I can see, my family
