Open your Bible to James Chapter 5, verse 13.

Father, we thank you for the word today, and I'm just grateful for people that love the word people that

will take a Saturday and come and hear your word sit in your presence and so I

pray that every person a day would benefit very greatly from the message that they're about to hear.

And that all of us would be encouraged in our faith and encouraged to pray the

prayer of faith so we can open the door for you to work in our lives in Jesus

name. Amen. I've been talking this weekend a lot about prayer and faith. The

Bible talks about the prayer of faith in James chapter 5 we're going to start in verse 13.

Is anyone among you afflicted, ill-treated suffering evil, he should pray.

You see, God's first line of defense and offense

for every situation is pray.

Is anyone glad he should praise God,

which is another type of prayer. Is anyone sick? He should call the church

elders and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Lord's name. And the prayer
