We can pray any time, anywhere, about anything.

prayer? The King James says the fervent prayer of a righteous man. What is a fervent prayer? I used to think it was loud and long.

I mean to be honest I did, you know, I thought if you weren't hollering and

praying loud, you know, long prayers and probably you weren't being...

I thought fervent was but I've

since found out that fervent is sincere heartfelt and focused one of the things that

we need to learn how to do when we're praying is to really keep our mind on what we're doing

There's such a danger when you're praying with people of slipping over from really talking to God, heartfelt,

you have to be careful, you don't slip over into that area

of trying to impress the people around you with the eloquent sound of your prayers.

Now, come on, I'm just being honest.

You know God's had to tell me you quit talking to me five minutes ago now you're

trying to impress them. The earnest heartfelt prayer of a man, a condemned man, a guilty man, a man, a man who doesn't like themselves, who's always down on themselves and critical of themselves,

no, the fervent prayer of a righteous.
