I always say you can't spell authority without author, and it's one of the easiest ways to really

leverage and grow your platform. But what I want to share with you today is a story of how I figured out

also grow a business. I had no intention of doing so. But let me back up. So when I first

graduated college, I worked for Zig Zigler. It had been a dream of mine since I was 18 years old

and I was finally realizing it when I was 22, and I worked for him at the corporate

office, and I was in sales. It was an amazing experience. I was there for just under four years

when I decided to quit. I was offered a software sales position, and it was around the dot-com boom.

And so I quit to go make more money, climb a corporate ladder and do all

the things that I thought would make me, quote unquote, more, you know, happier. Well, I spent the
