0:12.3	Chapter 19 versus 10 and 11. I have attended stake conferences where I frantically searched
0:20.2	through my emails beforehand to make sure I had the
0:22.6	right time, knowing that I probably had missed some other meeting details. I've also attended
0:28.5	state conferences where I prepared for the meetings with real intent, accepting invitations from
0:36.5	our stake presidency for what to do beforehand to prepare,
0:40.5	whether that's attending the temple or reading certain talks. Guess which state conferences are
0:46.4	more meaningful to me? It's the ones where I take time to prepare, of course. There is just
0:52.6	really something powerful about preparing for a spiritual
0:56.9	experience. The Lord warned Moses in Exodus chapter 19 versus 10 and 11 to go unto the people and
1:07.8	sanctify them today and tomorrow and let them wash their clothes and be ready against
1:14.3	the third day. For the third day, the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon Mount Sinai.
1:22.1	The Lord wanted the Israelites to prepare for this amazing spiritual experience that would happen.
1:28.6	How can you become more prepared for spiritual experiences in your life?
1:34.3	It might be helpful to ponder this question before a sacrament meeting,
1:40.2	before attending the temple, before reading your scriptures, or even before participating in acts of service.
1:48.0	So, the takeaway of the day in five words or less, prepare for spiritual experiences.
