Summary

Our founding fathers and mothers believed that citizens of America could only handle freedom if they governed themselves according to the principles of the Bible. Due to our human nature, freedom is dangerous and could lead to corruption. But if you live out the laws of Scripture, and do so with faith and character, you’ll be able to properly handle the power that comes with liberty. Religion and morality are the only true supports of our republic, and can transform the character of this nation as a whole. It is only by the Word of God that we learn how to handle freedom, and if we can’t govern ourselves with character, the United States may fall into tyranny. What’s next for faith-minded people in America is to start more campfires around the country, and educate one another of the principles that God is calling us to live into. 0:48.1	That then allows you to educate your children so that you can pass these values onto them,

0:54.4	But if you don't start with faith and character, liberty is actually very dangerous for

1:02.2	Because if you don't have faith and liberty, what happens, I mean, faith and character,
1:06.3	what happens to the people of that nation that have freedom? Right. I mean, as you look at that statue, the people of that nation that have freedom.

1:12.6	I mean, as you look at that statue, the verse that comes in mind is Paul saying,
1:16.6	Stand fast in the liberty for which Christ has set you free.
1:20.6	Stand fast.
1:21.6	Liberty has been given to you as a, literally, a biblical or a Christian attribute,
1:26.6	because you've lived out the principles of
1:28.6	Scripture and you have governed yourself, you don't need a king or a tyrant to control your
1:34.5	reaction.
