Summary

In the last few decades, the Church has escaped from its responsibility to take a stand against tyranny. Our founding fathers were once actively applying Scripture to their lives and to the formation of the republic, encouraged by the words of patriot pastors. There is no one more equipped and called by God than pastors to teach American citizens how to apply biblical principles to every aspect of our lives, and we have lost the importance of that leadership. In early America, the pulpits became the source of discipleship that spread the vales of biblical faith, so that Americans could stand with character and principle against tyranny. The men and women who founded our country did not want to establish a theocracy, but they did seek the ability to govern themselves according to Christian values. If we hope to become a united country that is not easily toppled by worldwide powers, we must go back to the principles of the U.S. Constitution and empower our pastors to lead us well. and transformation to cultures that are threatening to become a corpse. And he revives them.

And so tonight, I want us to talk about something that I think is kind of a stark contrast

that we're seeing. As we look to Canada and we see

these truckers, I can't help but notice the contrast between the courage of the truckers and the

courage of the church. In Canada, Marshall, there were some individual pastors that had great courage and great conviction.

These were people often who came out of totalitarian countries with totalitarian governments,

and they understood the threat of dictatorships.

1:42.3

And so they're warning their people of what's going on.

And many of these got arrested for speaking out like this.

1:49.9

But where was the rest of the church?

1:52.1

Where was the rest of the family of faith?

1:54.2

They didn't stand up.

1:57.1

Many instead kept quiet and remained in the churches, praying, and doing things that wouldn't get them in trouble, and definitely doing things that would keep, quote, unquote, unity within their church by not getting political and not getting involved with what was happening.
