And today, maybe more than usual, as it appears that the Texas National Guard is preparing at the Great Lakes Naval Station in the northern suburbs

to be deploying to Chicago.

We don't know when.

And Governor Pritzker is asking everybody to not do anything to provoke any of the National

Guard or ICE members don't even throw a sandwich at them.

Any kind of provocation will just lead to

an increase in the deployment and possibly the aggressiveness of the agents who will be here.

Live from the United States, where the press has the freedom to be propaganda, this is hell,

and there are few topics that are more hindered by propaganda than immigration,

and the way in which the United States punishes those who long to be in the supposedly home of the free.

Back in 2022, we spoke with political geographer, Reese Jones, about his then just published book, Nobody is Protected, how the Border

Patrol became the most dangerous police force in the United States.

Reese told us the United States may have declared the end of the war on terror, but they have

not declared the end of the security apparatus that they have constructed as part of the war on terror.

There were a lot of laws put in place after 9-11 that were part of the creation of the Department of Homeland Security in 2003,

that created this vast authority for federal agents to do this kind of policing inside the United States.

The Border Patrol specifically repositioned themselves as being the front line against terrorism.

When you look at their national ethos, when you look at their documents online,

terrorism is at the front of what the Department of Homeland Security claims they are fighting.
