Well, I want to talk to you about generosity this morning, and specifically I want to talk you about money, which I know is controversial.

Yeah, I just felt the tension. You know, you're like, don't do it. I like this place. You're going to stress me out. Don't do this. Because I know conversations about money changes things. It can make things weird. I remember my uncle told me the story of his

son, his little boy, my nephew, was just the sweetest, kindest kid. He's one of those kids

that's abnormally old for his age.

You know like at three wore like trousers. You know what I mean?

And he would walk up and just be like, well how are you today?

I'm like, great, thank you? Like it was bizarre. And he said he's the sweetest kid, politeest kid and we were coming up to Christmas and he said we thought you know what now's a good time to teach him about money because his dad was an investment and he said you know what so I gave him some money and said

here son and he gave him like a hundred dollars or something like five

20s and he said Ben it was the weirdest thing because when I handed it to him he's

like looking at me like why are you handing me this I'm like that's your money

now and he's like this is my money he's like that's your money. He's like that's your money.

He said Ben I watched his face change like that's my money. That's my money. That's my money.

And he said he would walk around Ben and pet it. He said he would carry it around. He's like, precious, yes.

And he said, as he was doing that, I can't understand.

Well, you know son, Christmas is coming up.

Maybe you'd like to use some of that money to buy gifts for your family.

And he said, I watched my sweet, generous, kind son go,

no, no, my money to you.
