Summary

“For many of you, your biggest problem is not your problems, it’s your anxiety about your problems.” Jesus presents anxiety as one of the biggest impediments to seeking the Kingdom of God. For many of us, worries and anxiety in life keep us from all we are meant to be under God. This week, Pastor Ben Stuart reminds us that there is an invitation to cast our cares on Him. Our anxieties are not too heavy for God — He is there waiting for us to release them.

0:36.4	that the simple call of your life and mind is that we would know Jesus and we would walk with him, drawn near to him, a pure and simple devotion to
0:46.8	him is why you're here.
0:48.5	That's what our text says, rejoice, seek your joy, but rejoice in the Lord always.
0:54.5	And I will say it again.
0:55.8	Rejoys, the simple call of your life and mind
0:59.0	is to know Jesus and enjoy him. And yet I know for many of us in here, you believe that, you're a follower of Jesus, and you go, I buy that, but it's a struggle to live with that kind of simplicity.
1:10.0	And you say, why?
1:12.0	Well, if we have an enemy spiritually and the Bible says we do,
1:16.0	that his plan for many of us in this room is not necessarily to make you believe
1:20.0	Jesus isn't good or God doesn't exist or the scriptures aren't true.
1:25.4	He's going to say, you want to believe that, you believe it.
1:27.3	You want to pursue that, pursue that.
1:29.1	Just make sure you look good while you're doing it.
1:31.9	And meanwhile, you better make sure you go to a good college so you can
1:34.8	take the right courses and pick the right major so you can get a good job so you can get the
1:39.0	right internship so you can go to DC and when you get to DC getting the right project so you can get to DC. And when you get to DC, getting the right project,
