What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to the established family podcast. Today is the second session

to be specifically identifying how the wrong type of counsel can shape your marriage. And so I'm going to begin

exposing why things like anger and wrath and trouble and distress and unbridled desire and fear and

dread and terror and things of these natures have you hooked in a broken marriage through the vehicle or open door of ungodly counsel.

And so we know throughout the entire Bible, especially the Old Testament,

if you look at the wisdom literature like Psalms, Proverbs, Job, ecclesiastes, etc.,

that counsel and godly counsel are heavily mentioned as a means to persevere through challenges

and decision making.

about how when trials came, my wife and I did not have the character to persevere.

And when temptation came, we did not have the character to persevere, and when temptation came, we did not have the

character to resist the devil. And so godly counsel and counsel that is rooted in righteousness
