Today we have on my friend Haley, D. Domenicus, who is formerly was a Walmart employee, then went into being a writer, ended up writing the

Netflix rom-com Christmas movie, My Absolute Dream, Our Little Secret with Lindsay Lohan, Kristen

Chenoweth, and now is, just wrote an incredible article, and she does a city about her fertility

journey within Canada. And we had a conversation where

like, let's bring this to the podcast. I'm so excited you're here. I'm so excited to be here.

Thank you for having me. From sitting in a coffee shop two years ago, two years ago, it was something

like that. Yeah. We have a mutual friend with Lauren. You grew up in the same town as her. And like, you're a Canadian gal and you've had such a cool career story. It's fun Googling your name by the way. Like it's like it's like. Because it's so long or? No, because it's like when you Google your name, it's like it's just you have so many cool article titles. And I was like, dang, I forget, like, you've done some cool stuff.

And, yeah, I'm so great. I'm so glad that we're still in each other's lives, but I'm so

excited that we get to sit down and have this conversation today because I didn't know this part

about your story. So why don't you kind of, I've introduced you, but you introduced yourself,

you know you best,

and let's get into it. Yeah, I mean, that was a pretty good introduction, so thank you for that. Chris and Chenwith, I had to drop. Chris and Chenwood, Lindsey Lohan, we are name dropping today, everyone. You know what? You know, you say that you didn't know a lot about it. A lot of people didn't know a lot about kind of what I've been going through the past year and a half. And it was, you know, I want to say like a big

decision to, you know, put it all out there. But at the same time, the more that I experienced

going down this road of trying to get pregnant on my own, the more I was like, I need to talk about this.

And like, so, I mean, I guess, you know, to take you back to the beginning of my decision, you know, I guess when I first started seriously thinking about doing all of this

on my own, I was about 35. And a lot of friends at that age are entertaining, you know, freezing

your eggs. And obviously, I'm a huge advocate of that. I also think that people say, oh, just freeze your eggs,

like a little willy-nilly. Like it isn't incredibly. Yeah, it's a whole thing. It's a lot. It's a whole

...
