The Hello there, Thunder Mifflinites, and welcome back to the Office ASMR, a podcast to fall asleep to

right now I hope you are relax and cozy in bed and I learned my lesson last time not to mention any of the current events in the world and even that mention I think is crossing the line for how much it does not matter at this moment as we look to get a long peaceful

night of rest so we are energized and ready for the day tomorrow.

Tonight we are on episode 16 of season 2, which is Valentine's Day.

We've had Christmas, we've had Halloween, and now we're into Valentine's Day.

And this one is directed by showrunner and creator Greg Daniels written by Michael Shore and it

aired on February 9th of 2006. This past week actually was the 15 year anniversary of the pilot of the office.

And so I know I've mentioned some of the timelines before of the show as I've been going through

the episodes.

You know, I'll say, you know, it's been 14 years since this episode but March 24th so just this week we looked at 15

years of this incredible show and then one of my friends sent me an article that said it was some behind the

scenes stuff. I'm going to have to get this book now. Maybe I'll do a Sleepy Time Podcast review of the book, where it said that Steve Correll

actually didn't want to leave the show.

He was kind of stiff-armed into leaving by NBC not renewing his contract and apparently left on

some not good terms.

So some office intrigue there. I'm going to make a note right now to pick up that book and maybe do a bonus episode review of it between season two and season three because we're actually

we're almost towards the end of season two here at 22 episodes we're on 16 and

you know I've been doing these weekly, but if I get more reviews, then maybe I'll do more frequent

episodes.

I don't really know.

So far, you know, your feedback has been great. I don't want to ask for it in the
