I'm on the phone with Ashvin, and today we are discussing The Nun 2 from 2023, directed

by Michael Chavez, written by Ian Goldberg, Richard Nang, and Akela Cooper, starring Taisa Farminga, Jonas Blakett, Storm Reed, Anna Popplewell, Caitlin Rose Downey, and Bonnie Arons.

In this film, after her confrontation with a demonic spirit in the first nun film, Sister Irene, learns that her job

isn't quite finished yet, as the demon is still on the move. If you're new to the show, we are

going to talk about this movie. Spoiler free for the first 15 or 20 minutes as we just

discuss some background info on the film. After that, we're going to play some transition music

and go into spoiler mode where we walk through the plot in detail and review it. So if you haven't seen

this, once you hear that transition music, it's time to duck out and go see it in the theater.

And yeah, we reviewed the first film in 2019. It's been a little while. but we've reviewed the bulk of the Conjuring

universe except for the three Annabelle movies, so we better get on those at some point here,

buddy. I know. It's pretty crazy. We've avoided them this long. I think we need to cover one

between now and next September so that it can be a candidate for next sequel September.

Hey, speaking of sequels, this is the conclusion to sequel September.

Is it? Oh, yeah. Right.

But I think we probably are going to have like a mega sequel September this month

because I'm pretty sure the next three movies we're going to cover our sequels.

So we got to cover Saw 10.
