And on this week's episode, we're going to be continuing our coverage of sequels for sequel September by talking about the 1998 film,

Bride of Chucky, written by Don Mancini, directed by Ronnie You, and starring Jennifer Tilley,

Brad Dorff, John Ritter, and Catherine Hegel.

In this film, a young couple's plans to elope faces some challenges when two dolls come into the picture and lead them

on a murdering spree. For those of you who are new to our show, we're going to have a spoiler-free

discussion at the top half of this episode. Then we'll take a quick break and then jump into the

plot, hit the spoilers, and get into our review. Brian, it has been three weeks since we've

recorded. How are you feeling going into this episode? Oh, I don't know. I feel like I'm

probably going to be a little rusty, but I'm comforted by the fact that you are probably

more rusty than me, considering we just took about six or seven tries to get as far as we are

into the episode just to get past the intro yeah i'm feeling a little rusty uh too fortunately i have

the power of editing on my side so i can always work that in my favor very true very true yeah so i

watched this movie kind of like a week and a half ago because we were both out of the country for a while.

So, yeah, we'll see how this goes. Feel a little rusty, but I brushed up today and during my travels, I actually watched Child's Play 3, which we kind of skipped our coverage of just to get to the more interesting title uh we'll probably

go back and cover it at some point but we felt like after going after a nightmare on elm street

four we needed a bit more uh i don't know a more popular film i guess which hopefully bright of

chucky is we'll see uh what our listeners think but yeah i feel like this this a more popular film, I guess, which hopefully bright of Chuckie is.
