We've all heard the detours are necessary in life. Often they redirect us to a better place.

0:18.5

Often they take us a look more scenic, interesting route. And detours just

0:23.4

naturally happen. I think we know this on the larger scale, right? Like why you had to go along

0:29.6

that career path to arrive at what you're really passionate about or why you had to kiss all those

0:34.6

frogs that led you to the one that you finally appreciate. I think we can

look back and with some wisdom, acknowledge the natural, big, winding detours. But this shows up,

1:34.4

this hotel. And it's not just like a big grand opening like you typically expect when you,

1:40.2

when you arrive at any hotel, right? There's like a big lobby and there's people and you see it.

1:45.1

This is different. It's hidden and gorgeous. So we were like, where is this hotel? The map says

1:50.1

we're here and we can't find it. And we tried asking a couple of people and with the language

1:54.3

barrier, it was difficult. But I tell you what, as we were going up an escalator trying to find the entrance to the

2:02.1

Volgari Hotel, my husband spotted this exact shirt shop, this place that creates shirts

for someone who has his kind of body, right?
