It is time to give single Hood a cape because it's been vilified for so long.

Finding love, getting married buying a house, and having 2.2 kids where mom wears an apron and dad clenches a briefcase is an outdated

advertisement for people still on AOL.

Listen, I am 47 years old, I'm not married. My girlfriend is 36. Our daughter is about a year old. She was born

into a pandemic. She hasn't seen many other faces except ours. We are both therapists and we both work from home.

And I think we're done. I think we're done at one, you know.0 no 2.2 not interested in the Brady Bunch life

Now that we're out of the the first year of survival mode where you lose yourself completely who you are and just

start to get traction right anyway I want to talk about this old blueprint that many of us carry and I think it's dangerous now if you are still tracing this blueprint and it works for you then great you know

because most of us have been programmed to get a job, get married, have kids, buy a house, right?

Like this whole idea of the picket fence, right? And I get it, you know, and I think it comes from the generational transmission process, meaning from our parents and their parents and all that.

But I got to tell you, as someone who's been married and divorced, for someone who is having a child in his late 40s,

there is no picket fence anymore, You know, the picket fence has splinters. I say that all the time because I think people see that

fantasy and they run toward it thinking that that's the island to swim toward.
