I got all this energy, how am I going to channel it? I've got all these things I want to do, how am I going to channel it? I know you've probably been there too, like, I've got these dreams, these ambitions, how am I going to channel it?

One of the single most important days of my life I was sitting with Mike Vance in

Miami, Mike Vance former worked for Walt Disney, was in charge of ideas and people

develop and he went on to mentor Steve Jobs and was dear friends with Mother Teresa

mentor Jack Welch and extraordinary individuals and I was so blessed to work with

him and he asked me a lot of questions as I was at a place in my life where I was trying to figure out like

like I got all this energy how am I gonna channel it I've got all these things I

want to do how am I gonna channel and I know you've probably been there too like

I've got these dreams these ambitions how am I going to

channel it and it wasn't until he said to me Tom the old model of success the old model

of success is if you do enough then one day you can have enough and if you finally

have enough whatever that is then you'll be happy.

And I was like yeah I feel that I feel like I'm just in that doing stage over and over and he said

Tom and he just giggled because he was this huge personality he said it's not just

about doing and I was like well help me understand coach and he said you got to

flip the model the new way to be successful it isn't do and then have and then

be it's who you gonna be and then be it's who you going to be and then the doing becomes automatic and

then the have is just a natural output think about it if I said to you I want to

earn you know you say to me I want to earn a million dollars a year. I would ask you not just what do you need to do

because the doing part for that is actually kind of easy. Instead of you said to me I want

to earn a million dollars a year I'd say who would you be if you were already there?
