0:11.8	about the new Facebook developer conference where Mark Zuckerberg,
0:15.0	the CEO of Facebook, founder and CEO of Facebook, was talking about how the technology that
0:20.9	is being developed right now at Facebook is probably going to end up
0:23.9	killing the smartphone. I mean the smartphone like an iPhone or an Android
0:28.6	phone where you have a graphical user interface with apps and all the different things that we have on our phones
0:33.5	that's become a way of life since Apple released the iPhone in 2007 we all tend to use this technology
0:40.0	every day and Mark Zuckerberg is claiming that within maybe even 10, 15 years the
0:46.6	iPhone or any smartphone will not really be as relevant anymore and you think
0:50.9	well what's going to replace my smartphone? The idea is that you'll wear
0:54.7	glasses on your head, you know on your eyes to see certain imagery projected into the world. You'll be able to
1:02.0	you know pull up information right in your visual field through verbal
1:05.5	commands you'll be able to even project holographic images of your friends if
1:09.2	you're talking to them or wanting to communicate with other people. All of this technology is coming,
1:14.0	and it's going to be coming relatively fast
1:16.0	when you look at the long timeline of humanity.
1:19.0	Within the next 10, 15, 20 years,
1:21.0	we are going to see an exponential explosion of things like virtual reality,
1:27.4	of all these digital technologies that augment our lives and the real world and the digital world are going to continually
1:36.1	merge and there's all this talk you know about the singularity and things like that and that's not really where I'm going to go with this conversation here
