We're talking about the mystery of Jesus, who Jesus is, who Jesus was. We're talking about the person of Jesus through the eyes of John or through the book of John.

So what I'm doing is I am just reading these

chapters over and over and over again looking at what is this chapter telling me

about Jesus. I want to get to know Jesus better. And John Chapter 7 is the mystery of identification.

In other words, this is the, when you read John 7, I read it over and over again.

I kept seeing how the Jesus became a person.

He became a human being and he had problems just like I have problems. And that's what we're going to talk about.

Now let me explain to you what identification means because we use it theologically but I can give you a better definition of it.

There is a political strategy called identification and you are familiar with this because you've seen this happen.

This is a political strategy called identification and what it is when a candidate goes to like a factory and he'll put on a hard hat and the white coat and goggles and he will talk about how his great

great grandfather worked in a factory every day of his life for 40 years and because of that he can now relate to us that work in the factory.

And he knows what we're going through and he's in our corner and he's on our side and and America is

great because of us because of factory workers. Are you all for following me on this?

You ever heard this? Personally I don't know how he knows about working in a factory because his great-great-grandfather worked there. I don't understand that, but that's kind of what they do.

And then he'll leave that meeting, he'll take his white coat off, and he'll have a suit on underneath,

and he'll go meet with bankers, and he'll talk about interest rates and the economy and the stock market, and all these things, and how his wife's, aunt's uncle used to work in a bank

and therefore he can relate to them and bankers are what makes the world go around and

we couldn't live without them.

And then he'll go to a farm and he'll get on a combine and he'll put on overalls and he'll drive at 10 feet.

And he'll talk about how his great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, twice removed, used to live on a farm

and so he can relate to farmers and farmers are what makes the world go.
