If you'll turn in your Bibles please to Exodus 33. I've been speaking in Amarillo on the goodness of God. I've been doing a series and it's called The Goodness of my God. And I want to bring kind of the feature message of that

series to this morning we just got through singing about the goodness of God.

Anyone here believe that God's a good God? I tell you you were singing like it you were

really really seeing with enthusiasm we have an awesome God. He is a good God and I

want to talk this morning about the importance of us really understanding in our spirits,

how good God is, and some of the things that keep us from really being able to see his goodness

and how we can press through those things,

the title of this morning's message is seeing God for who he really is.

It's, you know, understanding God without looking through any filters that keep us from seeing his goodness.

Now I'm going to get to Exodus 33 there in just a minute and we're going to read it together.

Give me just a minute and I'm going to read you some scriptures here, stay in Exodus 33.

Psalm 86-5 says, you, O Lord, are good

and ready to forgive an abundant and mercy

to all of those who call upon you.

God's a good God. Many scriptures in the Bible say it.

Psalm 86 does. Psalm 31, verse 19, oh how great is your goodness which you have

laid up for those who fear you, which you have prepared for those who trust in you in the presence of men.

And the Bible doesn't just say that God is good, it says,

how great is your goodness.

God's goodness is awesome beyond anything that we can really comprehend.

And in Psalm 33 verse 5, he loves righteousness and justice.

The earth is full of the goodness of God. We know in other scriptures that the earth is full of the goodness of God.
